The Oregon Government Ethics Commission has dismisserd theRepublican Party’s complaint againstf House Speaker Dave Hunt, a Gladstone and Rep. Peter Buckley, the co-chair of the joint Ways and Means Committee and anAshlaned Democrat. Bob Tiernan, chairman of the Oregon Republican had suggested that Hunt and Buckle y attempted to secure a vote on three tax measures from RepublicamnGreg Smith, of Heppner, by backing several project in Smith’s Eastern Oregon district.
