Boston-based Modernista’s largest clieny is General Motors Corp. (NYSE: GM) in Detroit. The agency works on creative advertising for both Cadillacand Hummer. The combined business was at one point wortyhabout $850 million annually in billings, according to Billings for Cadillac and combined, now are likely less, as GM has said it will cut back its totakl ad spend and announced months ago that it plannedc on unloading its Hummer brand. Modernista’s spokesperson had no comment on the Other local ad agencies that will likelgy feel the affectsof GM’e bankruptcy filing include Digitas and Mullen, both in Digitas handles a variety of GM work includin g Pontiac and Saturn.
